MVR Evaporator

Mechanical Vapor Recompression technology requiring up to 90% less external steam — dramatically cuts operating costs and carbon footprint for concentration-intensive processes.

Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) technology recycles the vapor generated during evaporation — compressing it mechanically to raise its pressure and temperature, then reusing it as the heat source for continued evaporation. This requires up to 90% less external steam compared to traditional multi-effect evaporators, translating to massive savings in fuel, steam generation, and overall operating costs. Boiling temperatures are lower under vacuum conditions, making MVR especially well-suited for materials that degrade under high heat — such as enzymes, dairy products, fruit concentrates, and pharmaceutical intermediates. Systems are scalable from small batch operations to continuous large-scale processing.
