The Rotary Vacuum Paddle Dryer (RVPD) is a highly efficient, indirect contact drying system designed for drying, heating, cooling, crystallization, and solvent recovery of wet solids and pastes under vacuum conditions. The dryer consists of a horizontal cylindrical vessel fitted with a slow-speed rotating shaft equipped with specially designed paddles. Heat transfer is achieved through the jacketed shell and hollow paddles, ensuring uniform heat distribution while the vacuum operation allows drying at low temperatures, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials. Continuous gentle agitation prevents material sticking, improves heat transfer, and ensures consistent product quality. RVPD systems are compact, energy-efficient, and suitable for batch or semi-batch operation, offering excellent control over final moisture content.
